For the correct utilization of the assistance services hired, you should follow carefully the instructions below:
  1. Read the “General Conditions”.
  2. Call the Total Assistance Operative Office nearest to the place you are (or to Total Assistance headquarters in Buenos Aires) according to the phone numbers printed on the back page and on the voucher at the bottom of the page. You should communicate exactly the kind of assistance you need.
    Observations: Call “CALL COLLECT” or “TOLL FREE." If these options are not available you should pay for the call and keep the bill for reimbursement purposes.
  3. Follow carefully the instructions provided by the person in charge of our Operative Office; the effectiveness of the Assistance to be provided depends on this step.

OBSERVATIONS: WHEN AN URGENT HEALTH PROBLEM DID NOT ALLOW TO COMMUNICATE WITH TOTAL ASSISTANCE CENTRAL OPERATIVE OFFICE IN TIME, THE “ORDER OF SERVICES” HOLDER WILL HAVE TO INFORM TOTAL ASSISTANCE OF THE EVENT WITHIN 24 HOURS AND COMMUNICATE THE EXCEPTIONAL REASONS WHICH HINDERED TO REQUEST THE CORRESPONDING ASSISTANCE SERVICE.

The failure to satisfy these obligations will cause the immediate expiration of the Total Assistance “Order of Services” holder’s rights stated under the General Conditions.

* Contracted with local insurance companies, this insurance is a free card’s additional service therefore it may be modified or terminated by Total Assistance without previous notice. Children under 14 and older people above 70 are excluded from this service.

Chronic or pre-existent illness as well as its consequences, manifestation and / or complications are expressly excluded from this coverage.

Total Assistance is an international travel assistance company that provides, among others, medical, legal and personal assistance services during travel-related emergencies.

It is expressly specified herein and it is accepted by the card Holder that the services rendered by T.A. are not a medical insurance nor an extension or substitute of social security programs or pre-paid medical coverage programs used in holder’s country of usual or permanent residence. Total Assistance services are exclusively oriented and limited to the assistance in travel in case of accute and unexpected situations which interrupt the normal continuation of a trip.

In order to use Total Assistance services card holder must have read and accepted the applicable terms and conditions specified in the General Conditions.

Total Assistance services shall be rendered solely to the card Holder and upon his /her request and cannot be transfered to third parties. In order to use the services included herein, card Holder should produce Total Assistance valid voucher as well as the personal documentation that proves his/her identity.

Total Assistance voucher will not be valid whatsoever within Holder's country of actual and / or usual residence and / or in the country where the product was issued and / or in the country where Holder was staying at the moment card was issued.

This condition shall not apply to Total Assistance NACIONAL cards which are expressely regarded valid within the same country where the card was issued.

Any modification or cancellation of cards made within 48 hours prior to the initiation of the services will have a charge of USD 5,00 for administrative expenses or its equivalent in local currency.

The following general terms and conditions shall apply for the coverage above mentioned:

 

GENERAL CONDITIONS

The Total Assistance “Order of Services” holder is entitled to the following free services as hereinafter limited. These will be granted exclusively to the holder of the “Order of Services” upon his/her request and within the validity period of the “Order of Services”.

Services will be granted only in the countries and/or regions corresponding to the areas covered by our assistance. The expenditures incurred for assistance in regions not covered by Total Assistance will be reimbursed, provided they are duly authorized by our Operative Office, according to the terms of the “Reimbursement of Expenditures” hereinafter.
The “Order of Services” holder, when acquiring such order, states that he knows and accepts the General Conditions in all the terms as stated herein.


GENERALITIES

  1. Accidental Death
    If the holder of the “Order of Service” should die as a consequence of an accident, Total Assistance coverage guarantees the pertinent compensation according to what it is established to that effect in the table “Coverage and Benefits” and also in accordance with current regulations covering Accidental Death, at disposition of passengers at the Insurance Company.
    This coverage contains a maximum amount established by the contracted local insurance company. Said maximum amount will limit the sum to be received by the beneficiary in case of a multiple damage. If the abovementioned maximum amount is exceeded, it will be prorrated among the insured beneficiaries who suffered the damage. People under 14 and above 69 years old are excluded from this benefit.
  2. Medical Assistance
    a) In the event of an illness or injury which interrupts the normal continuation of the trip, the “service order” (voucher) holder, is entitled to use, free of charge, the professional services (up to the established limits) as well as the medical center assigned and provided by Total Assistance. Benign illness and slight injuries that may not interrupt the normal travel destination of the voucher holder upon returning from his/her trip may apply for the reimbursement of expenses occurred during such trip. The reimbursement will be made provided the claim is covered by the present general conditions.
    b) Total Assistance will bear the cost of services rendered to the “service order” (voucher) holder by other professionals and/or medical centers for rehabilitation under the following particular circumstances.
    1) If the voucher holder is unable to request assistance from one of the Operation Centers of Total Assistance.
    2) If the requested assistance to Total Assistance is not made available immediately at the place of occurrence by the medical equipment from Total Assistance, under these circumstances, the voucher holder can hire the extrictly necessary medical services. These costs will be paid directly to the medical center that is rendering these services.
    All payments will be made according to the forms and conditions specified in the item “reimbursement of medical, odontological, pharmaceutical and phone call expenses”. Any payments made under these circumstances, by the voucher holder for emergency situations exclusively, will be reimbursed only according to the unalterable criteria under the item “reimbursement of medical, odontological, pharmaceutical and phone call expenses”.
    Observations: If in the event of an emergency due to a health problem the voucher holder cannot notify on time the Total Assistance Operation Center, he/she must notify Total Assistance within the first 24 hours as from the occurrence. Also, he/she must state the real causes why he/she could not get Total Assistance at the time of the emergency.
    Non compliance of the above mentioned regulations, except in the case of ascertainable force majeure will automatically cancel voucher holder right to get payment and/or a refund for the expenses incurred in the hiring of services made by voucher holder himself.
    Services included in the benefits of the medical assistance
    a. Assistance with medical equipments in emergencies.
    b. Specialists assistance upon indication of Total Assistance Medical Board.
    c. Complementary medical check-ups: Blood Tests, x-rays and others if they are necessary and dully authorized by the Medical Department of Total Assistance.
    d. Hospital admittance provided it is requested by our Medical Board. Hospitalization has to take place while “service order”(voucher) is in force and may be extended at the express request of our Medical Board for an additional 5 day period. Said hospitalization must take place in the most appropriate medical center according to the nature of the injuries or sickness affecting the “service order”(voucher) holder.
    e. Surgical interventions: If they are extrictly necessary and as long as they are authorized by the Medical Board of Total Assistance.
    f. In case the voucher holder needs to be transferred from the medical center to a different medical center assigned according to the nature of patient illness or injury, Total Assistance will handle the transfer using the means of transportation available (ambulance, helicopter, plane, cart, etc.) If necessary, a doctor or nurse will escort the patient. Transfer of a patient must be authorized by the physician responsible for the patient and by the Operation Center of Total Assistance.
  3. Odontological Assistance
    The Total Assistance “Order of Service” holder is entitled to receive attention in case of acute odontological problems, i.e. those which need an emergency treatment because of pain, infection, or injuries up to the maximum established in the table “Coverage and Benefits” after consultation and authorization by the Total Assistance Operative Office, and according to the specific terms of his/her plan of benefits.
  4. Pharmaceutical Assistance
    Total Assistance will reimburse or make direct payment of the medicine prescribed by the Total Assistance Medical Team provided the reason of its necessity is not included in the item “Limitations/Exclusions”.
    a. In case of hospitalization, medicines are included in the items corresponding to assistance, therefore, they shall be governed by the terms set up under “Coverage and Benefits”.
    b. In case of ambulatory illness or injury where hospitalization is not necessary, Total Assistance will cover up to the amount established for pharmaceutical assistance, according to the specific
    terms of Total Assistance “Order of Service” holder’s plan of benefits, under “Coverage and Benefits”.
  5. Lost luggage localization and delivery expenses
    The Total Assistance “Order of Service” holder is entitled to the services of tracking and localization of lost luggage as well as to payment by Total Assistance of expenses incurred in forwarding the found luggage to him in accordance to the limits set up in his/her plan of benefits under “Coverage and Benefits” . To be entitled to this service, Total Assistance “Order of Service” holder will have to contact Total Assistance Operative Office to report the loss of his/her luggage and fill up the corresponding PIR (Property Irregularity Report) form with the air line, keeping the original to be submitted to Total Assistance.
  6. Compensation for lost luggage
    The Total Assistance “Order of Service” holder is entitled to compensation for the total loss of luggage checked in the “check-in” counter of the airlines operating with regular flights.
    Total Assistance covers luggage checked in international travel since the moment it is checked and up to the moment it is expected in the luggage claim conveyor belt of the airport of destination provided such flights are regular airline flights or regulated charters.
    The Total Assistance “Order of Service” holder will not be entitled to compensation for loss of carry-on luggage (cabin luggage), for violated luggage, deteriorated contents. Similarly, no compensation shall be paid for the loss of packages, whatever their contents.
    In case of loss of luggage, the Total Assistance “Order of Service” holder must proceed as follows:
    - Fill in the PIR (Property Irregularity Report) with the airline and keep the original form
    - Simultaneously, call the nearest Total Assistance Operative Office before leaving the airport, report the event, provide name of airline, flight number and destination.
    If luggage is not found, Total Assistance “Order of Service” holder will be entitled to a compensation equal to the one established by the airline up to the limit set up under “General Conditions”.
    In order to collect such compensation, the Total Assistance “Order of Service” holder shall submit the following documents to the travel agent, operator or directly to the Total Assistance offices where the “Order of Service” was issued:
    - PIR (Property Irregularity Report) Form.
    - Total Assistance original “Order of Service”
    - Document supporting the payment made by the Airline.
    Only original supporting documentation will be accepted.
    Total Assistance “Order of Service “ holder will receive a complementary compensation from Total Assistance in an amount equal to the one paid by the airline up to the limits fixed under “Coverage and Benefits” and according to his/her plan of benefits.
  7. Legal Assistance
    The Total Assistance “Order of Service” holder is entitled to have at disposal a lawyer for his defense in any criminal suit or civil action resulting from liability attributed to him arising from an accident or demand. In any case, the contractual relationship is established by and between the Total Assistance “Order of Service” holder and the lawyer. Total Assistance, being not a party to this suit, will not assume responsibility over the case.
    If the Total Assistance “Order of Service” holder is arrested and charged with liability in an accident, Total Assistance will provide a loan to post the bail which may be required for his/her freedom on parole. Said loan may not exceed the limits set up under the “General Conditions” established for each particular case. The holder must reimburse Total Assistance the amount granted within a period not exceeding 30 (thirty) full days plus the corresponding interest, rates and currency adjustments related to the time when the loan was made.
  8. Financial Assistance
    At request of the Total Assistance “Order of Service” holder, Total Assistance will contact the relatives and / or friends indicated by the Total Assistance “Order of Service” holder as reference in the country of origin, in order to make them know about the necessity of funds in an emergency (robbery / loss). Once the funds requested by the holder have been deposited in the Total Assistance offices in the country of origin, the order of payment will be made. The money will be provided in US dollars or in local currency. This monetary transfer can be made only once during the validity period of the Total Assistance “Order of Service” and shall not exceed the established limitation. The transfer cost will be U$S 50 (fifty US dollars) to be deducted from the remittance.
    Total Assistance will not be responsible for the delay in delivery of the remittance when there exists internal problems in the reception country (war, revolution, holidays, etc.)
  9. Trip Cancellation
    Total Assistance guarantees the payment for the loss of the deposit paid, up to the limit established according to the specific terms of holder plan of benefits under “Coverage and Benefits” provided the trip has been cancelled before the date scheduled as departure and provided also that the Total Assistance “Order of Service” holder cannot make the trip due to his/ her illness, accident or death or in case of illness, accident or death of a relative (parent, brother, sister, wife/husband, children).
    Total Assistance will reimburse holder the cancelled portion, not reimbursable, of the hotel fare and / or the regular ticket cancellation expenses provided holder has reserved and made payment for said costs on a date prior to the manifestation of said illness, accident or death.
    Total Assistance reserves the right to make a medical expert examination to verify the above mentioned medical conditions.
    In the event of cancellation of the journey, Total Assistance must be notified within 24 hs after manifestation of the illness, accident or death.
    Total Assistance will not be responsible for any additional penalty arising from the Total Assistance “Order of Service” holder failure to notify Total Assistance during the above mentioned 48 hs.
    b.) To request compensation, Total Assistance “Order of Service” holder must provide the Travel Agent, Operator or Total Assistance office of the area where the “Order of Service” was issued, with the following documents:
    - Complete Medical Expert findings or Death Certificate;
    Additionally, the following documents could be required:
    - Documents supporting the amount of the fine / fines, in case of cancellation;
    - Contract for Services with the Travel Agency where fine in case of trip cancellation should be established, according to the specific regulation for the Travel Agencies.
    Should the trip be cancelled due to any of the items established under the point LIMITATIONS / EXCLUSIONS hereunder, the insured will not be entitled to compensation under this coverage.
  10. Repatriation and transfers
    a) Sanitary Transfer
    In case of an urgent event and provided the Total Assistance Medical Team considers it absolutely necessary, Total Assistance will assume the transportation of the Total Assistance “Order of Service” holder to the nearest assistance center or to her/his domicile, not assuming further responsibilities.
    Total Assistance Medical Department will determine the destination and the transportation means; should the “Order of Service” holder or his/her relatives do not agree with such decision and hire a means different from the one selected by Total Assistance, then, Total Assistance “Order of Services” holder or his/her relatives will be held responsible for such transfer and its consequences.
    Total Assistance assumes no responsibility in such event. The Total Assistance “Order of Service” holder’s non-used return ticket shall be transferred to Total Assistance.
    No sanitary transfers will be made in the case of pre-existent illnesses or in those cases considered under “Limitations / Exclusions.
    b) Transportation in case of death
    If Total Assistance “Order of Service” holder should die, Total Assistance guarantees the transportation of the deceased previous effective contact with Total Assistance Operative Center which will be responsible for the expenses incurred in the pertaining bureaucratic steps and transportation, choosing the means of transportation according and up to the limits established under “General Conditions”. Expenses related to burial service, funeral and definite coffin are not reimbursed since they are expressly excluded.
    In all cases, relatives of Total Assistance “Order of Service” holder must return the non-utilized ticket which will be transferred to Total Assistance.
    No transportation in case of death will be made in the cases established under the item Limitations/ Exclusions.
    In case of transportation in case of death, no reimbursement will be made since this benefit depends upon the express authorization of Total Assistance as well as its direct intervention in the execution of the service.
    c) Repatriation of minors
    If Total Assistance “Order of Service” holder travels accompanied by a minor under 15 (fifteen) also a Total Assistance “Order of Service” holder, and he/she, by accident or illness, is not able to take duly care of said minor, Total Assistance will provide the means in order the child can return to his/her country of origin.
    d) Transfer of Total Assistance “Order of Service” holder’ s relative to the place of hospitalization
    In case of serious illness or accident requiring a minimum of ten days hospitalization (according to the exclusive criterion of Total Assistance),Total Assistance will take upon itself the tourist class fare of a relative whenever the Total Assistance “Order of Service” holder is alone in the place of hospitalization, his/her “Order of Service” is valid during the foreseen ten days hospitalization and such hospitalization is not the consequence of an event established under “Limitations / Exclusions”.
  11. Maximum Limit of Coverage
    The maximum amount of coverage is limited to the amount fixed under the Item Medical Assistance of each plan of coverage, including the totality of the contemplated items of Assistance except for Life Insurance. Whether only one item or the sum of some of them, the difference will be exclusively in charge of the Total Assistance “Order of Service” holder or his/her relatives, Total Assistance will not be liable for the consequences which might arise from the lack of payment of any amount exceeding the maximum established limits hereunder.
    However, if CN should have to pay to its suppliers an amount exceeding the maximum coverage limits provided in the General Conditions, due to the urgency/importance of the case or as payment for services rendered to the passenger, in such case, Total Assistance will be entitled to require from the Total Assistance “Order of Services” voucher holder, the payment of the amounts exceeding the stipulated limits and is entitled to resort, should it be necessary, to the corresponding Courts.
    Expenses incurred in legal action shall be paid by the Total Assistance “Order of Services” holder.
  12. Counseling in case of loss or robbery of National Identity Document, Information on Visas, Vaccines and Meteorology / Delivery of urgent messages
    Whenever it is requested by the Total Assistance “Order of Service” holder and during the validity of the “Order of Service according to the plan purchased, Total Assistance Operative Offices will provide information in the above mentioned cases. The delivery of urgent messages will be provided by the most adequate means (fax, phone, e-mail, telegram, telex, etc.) in case the Total Assistance “Order of Service” holder is not able to contact his/her family due to illness or accident.


    LIMITATIONS / EXCLUSIONS

    In case of the following events, Total Assistance will not provide coverage or services to Total Assistance “Order of Service” holder:

    1. Benign illness and slight injuries that may not interrupt the normal travel destination of the voucher holder. The chronic or pre-existent illnesses from which the Total Assistance “Order of Service” holder suffered previous to the date of the beginning of validity of the Total Assistance “Order of Service” and/or the date of commencement of the trip - known or unknown to the Total Assistance “Order of Service” holder as well as its acutenesses , manifestation and sequels. Under these circumstances, Total Assistance will only acknowledge (at its sole discretion) the first consultation which will enable to prove the pre-existence of the illness.
    2. Complaints, illnesses or injuries derived from criminal offenses by the Total Assistance “Order of Services” holder directly or indirectly.
    3. Illness or injuries resulting from suicide attempt, or intent to commit suicide, or caused by the Total Assistance “Order of Services” holder intentionally to himself.
    4. Treatment of sickness or pathological cases produced by intentional ingestion or application of toxics (drugs, psychotropic, hallucinogens, narcotics, etc.) or by the use of medicines without medical prescription.
    5. Illnesses, injuries, complaints or consequences, side effects or complications resulting from treatments or attention by persons and / or professionals not belonging to Total Assistance medical or pharmaceutical teams.
    6. Expenses incurred in any kind of prothesis, including but not limited to lenses repair,
    prescriptions update, spectacles, hearing aids, loss or replacement of batteries, orthopedic aids, etc.
    7. Plastic surgery, rejuvenation or aesthetic treatments.
    8. The accidents which may occur as a consequence of the practice of dangerous sports even though as amateur, including but not limited to: mountain climbing, sledge-racing, aerial sports, combat sports, cave-exploring, mechanic sports (car, motorcycle, or any other vehicle driven by a motor whether terrestrial or not) and winter sports in the snow or on ice. Skying in the snow, will be covered provided the extra fee for such sport has been paid for and it is practiced on authorized and regulated trails.
    9. Child deliveries, pregnancy controls, its check-ups and complications. Abortion no matter its etiology.
    10. Any kind of mental sickness, whether acute or chronic.
    11. Complaints, illnesses or injuries resulting from the ingestion of alcoholic beverages of any kind by the Total Assistance “Order of Service” holder.
    12. High blood pressure and its consequences, blood pressure checks/ controls as well as heart diseases, renal crisis, whether acute or chronic, known or unknown to the Total Assistance “Order of Service” holder and its consequences.
    13. Vaccines, injections, treatments and any kind of practice not authorized by the Total Assistance medical team.
    14. Disposable material of any kind.
    15. Endemic or epidemic diseases. Human immuno defidiency syndrome, AIDS and HIV in all their forms, and their acutenesses, sequels and consequences. Veneral diseases.
    16. Age: “Order of Service” holders older than 70 years (sixty seven years completed) will be entitled to 50 % of the value established for medical assistance, remaining coverages will not be affected.


    REIMBURSEMENT OF MEDICAL, ODONTOLOGICAL, PHARMACEUTICAL AND PHONE CALL EXPENSES

    1.) Authorization required to Total Assistance Operative Center on the date of the event or up to 24 hours after the event with justification.
    2.) Documentation:
    - “Order of Services” original - via of (passenger) Total Assistance ”Order of Services” holder .
    Letter from the Total Assistance “Order of Service” holder describing the event in question, indicating when he contacted the Total Assistance Operative Center and if he failed to do so, justification for such omission.
    - Notes, receipts, bills (always original form), showing the data of the professional rendering service and / or business (name, address, register number, currency, etc.).
    -Total Assistance “Order of Service” holder must produce documentation supporting the nature (diagnostic in case of hospitalization, clinical record, prescriptions, etc.) as well as the detail of the expenses incurred.
    Total Assistance reserves itself the right to require further documentation. Only original documentation will be accepted; copies or tickets will not be valid as support documentation.
    Applications for reimbursement of expenses must be provided within 10 (ten) days immediately after the expiration of validity of the “Order of Services”.
    The cost of the hired services will be adjusted to the current prices and rates of the place where such services have been required.
    The reimbursement or payment of expenses will be made up to 30 (thirty) days as from the date when Total Assistance “Order of Service” holder has provided all the documentation required by Total Assistance.
    Administration fee for refunds will generate a charge of twenty dollars (in each case) to be discounted from the full refund.
    The failure to satisfy these obligations will cause the immediate expiration of the Total Assistance “Order of Services” holder’s right to obtain payment or reimbursement to the suppliers for the services provided.


    GENERAL STIPULATIONS

    1. Fortuitous cases or Force Majeure
    TOTAL ASSSISTANCE shall not be held liable in fortuitous cases of force majeur such as catastrophe, earthquake, rebellion, action of guerrillas or counterguerrillas, mutiny, hostilities, reprisal,
    conflicts, seizures, compulsion, political mass movements, lock-out, public riots or terrorism which may prevent the normal rendering of its services. Nonetheless, once the impediment is over, Total Assistance will make every effort to fulfill as soon as possible the obligations of assistance described under General Conditions herein.

    2. Territorial Validity
    Total Assistance will render the services established herein in all those countries referred to as “Destination” in the “Order of Services” except for the Total Assistance “Order of Service” holder’s country of residence, whether temporal or permanent.

    3. Time Validity

    a.)Total Assistance will render services during the period of validity of the “Order of Services” such as it is expressly set up by the agent who issued such “Order of Services”.
    b.) The price will be fixed in accordance to the period of validity of the contract, according to the rate stipulated when issuing the “Order of Services”.
    If for any reason, chargeable or not to the Total Assistance “Order of Services” holder, it has been fixed a price lower than the one corresponding to the period of validity of the “Order of Services” ,Total Assistance will limit its services to the period of validity covered by the price paid by the beneficiary.
    c.) If for any reason, chargeable or not to the Total Assistance “Order of Services” holder, there has been a simultaneous issue of correlative Total Assistance “Order of Services” , the first one is the one to be accepted for the period it is in force, Total Assistance will not assume responsibility over any other order.
    d.) When the “Order of Services” is issued directly by the Travel Agent, Operator or point of sale, they must inform Total Assistance about such event, sending to Total Assistance all available data
    before the date of commencement of the order’s period of validity.
    This is an essential condition to convalidate the “Order of Services”.
    e.)Total Assistance “Order of Services” cannot be purchased once the journey has commenced.
    f.) Once the journey has commenced, Total Assistance “Order of Services” cannot be extended, expiration date is the one appearing on such order as the last day of validity.
    g.)Total Assistance services and liabilities are limited to the period of validity set forth on the “Order of Services” or to a maximum of 120 days per journey being prohibited the simultaneous issues of “Order of Services” with a period of validity exceeding this limit.
    In order to determine the 120 days period, it will be considered as a basis the departure and returning dates to the country where the Total Assistance. service order (voucher) was issued.
    This restriction is also applicable to the Total Assistance. annual plan where the Total Assistance. voucher holder may travel as many times he/she needs to provided service order voucher is in force.

    4. Cancellation and reissue of orders of services
    a.) Cancellation
    Cancellation must be required by the agent who issued the order of service not later than three working days before the date of commencement of the journey, as established in the “Order of Services”. After this limit, no cancellations or refunds will be processed.
    b.) Re-Issue
    To request the re-issue of the “Order of Services” in order to correct data, the Travel Agent can do it within a minimum of three working days before the beginning of the validity of the “Order of Services”.

    5. Subrogation
    Total Assistance will become automatically subrogated of the rights and claims (actions) to which the Total Assistance “Order of Service” holder or his heir (s) is (are) entitled against third parties in connection with the event originating the assistance rendered, up to the limits established for reimbursement.
    Therefore, Total Assistance “Order of Service” holder engages himself/herself to pay immediately to Total Assistance all the amounts that he had already received or will receive from the person responsible for the accident and / or his insurance company/nies by way of advance on account of the final compensation to which the injured is entitled to, up to the amounts payable by Total Assistance concerning the event in question.

    6. Responsibility
    Total Assistance shall not be responsible for and therefore shall not indemnify the Total Assistance “Order of Service” holder for any damage, injury or illness caused by its making available to the Total Assistance “Order of Service” holder, at his request, designated medical, odontological, pharmaceutical or legal assistance. It supplies service only, upon request and without charge, in the instances established under “General Conditions”. At such time, the person or persons designated shall become agents of the Total Assistance “Order of Service” holder.

    7. Prescription
    Any legal actions arising from the relationship between the Card Holder and Total Assistance will prescribe after 180 (one hundred and eighty) consecutive days, counted as of the date on which the event giving rise to the claim took place.

    8. Jurisdiction

    For everything related to the application of the contract by and between Total Assistance “Order of Service” holder and Total Assistance, as it is set forth under “General Conditions” hereunder, both parties agree to submit to the jurisdiction of the ordinary commercial Courts of the place where the Total Assistance“ Order of Service” was issued, expressly waiving all other jurisdictions
